Blood Fall Sunrise

vampire red (3)

Bloodstained fingerprints pressed upon my lips,
Succumbing to the darkness inside;
Forever I shall hide from the light.

That hot, wet, rushing force in you
Calls to the dry, dusty wasteland in me:
Set them free. Let them bleed.
You only exist to feed!

“I long for but one kiss, my sweet.”

Breathe that breath of life in me,
Let me feel: the rise and fall of your chest,
that incessant beating in your breast!
My throat catches fire.
I’m overcome by desire.

Tonight you can run, but
I swear you cannot hide.
Your blood shall fall before
the sunrise, for tonight

you are mine.
